Wound Care

We employ a certified wound specialists nurse that will provide individualized and expert care under our patient’s physician order to ensure our patient’s wounds heal to the best potential. Our staff understands the complexities of wound care, treatment, and healing. Our wound care philosophy is a multidisciplinary approach in which we treat our patient’s wounds, as well as, the underlying disease process and cause.

Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy can be an integral part of a patient’s care plan.  The therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) will work with our patients on their mobility, positive lifestyle changes, and will monitor progress.  Physical Therapy helps to decrease the duration and severity of disabilities from chronic and acute illnesses so that the patient can return to their desired, normal daily activities.

Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) empower our patients to improve their ability to complete Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and accomplish meaningful activities. Our OTs and OTAs have expertise in addressing the patients’ ADL needs including home safety recommendations, providing adaptive equipment training, low-vision strategies, utilizing functional cognition strategies, decreasing anxiety and improving independence in the home. Occupational therapy helps people do the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of daily activities.

Speech Therapy

By preventing, assessing, diagnosing and treating speech disorders—including language, communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders, speech therapy is an essential component to a patient’s care plan. Often, patients experience an inability to talk and communicate, difficulty swallowing or poor memory and disorientation. Our Speech Therapists focus on getting our patient back to meaningful communication.

Infusion Therapy

Our experienced nurses can provide infusion therapy in the home. Our clinical team works directly with your physician and your pharmacists to administer prescribed therapy while monitoring the effectiveness of treatment. Care is always individualized and involves education on a continuing basis, close monitoring of each patient’s response to treatment, and management of prescribed therapy and infusion device.
